Economy is not good, people dont want to spend so much on a phone with features they hardly use.
So Nokia is pushing the smartphone experience down into the low-mid level market with affordable pricing.
So what if they are redesigned or plastic or whatever.
Those who are so rich, go buy high end phones and stop posting stupid remarks and look at the mirror.
Jealous retards probably.

Anonymous, 13 Apr 2010Start making real phones like the N8 not these cheap crap ones.you know that Nokia is making money from "mid-end" market?
i suppose if those moddels repeat XM5800 success they will sell times more than any N8
if you want hi-tech gadget go for HTC, or similar

Nokia is targeting the mid range market. Those with bad comments look into the mirror.
Price is also very good.

Personally i think thi sis very clever from Nokia. looking at this from a business perspective they're going to sell these phone at a huge volume.
Samsung, INQ etc have had a lot of success at taking away RIMs business across Europe and Asia, this is Nokia's stab at this.
These are phone made from industry analysis. Not terribly romantic and won't appeal to many high end users but it'll make Nokia a lot of green.
Meego however, needs to deliver big time.
Get in a huge developer base, sort out the shit7y ovi store and make the device as accessible as possible with some serious hardware. I hope they will deliver on this, the industry and consumers need Nokia to stay relevant.
Device wise, the iPhone's form factor doesn't appeal to all and Android is starting to show handset fragmentation (how many times have you gone onto the android market and seen an app review saying 'this doesn't work on my hero/droid etc'. The guys at Espoo need to take advantage...

I am a guy and not sure of my orientation. But I will definitely buy the pink C3 as soon as it is available.
I just love how the pink color makes a good looking phone gorgeous.

Wake up Nokia it's 2, 13 Apr 2010The best thing Nokia could do is sell their company to HTC,... moreWith respect, there is a market, big market for those. I myself buy couple of weeks back a java enabled China clone of BlackBerry bold only to have a full keyboard upfront. My sister who is waiting for X10 to be released, bought copy of E72 for the same reason. I do have smartphone and waiting for X2 to be ready. One of my clients, who is running group of companies here using cheap China phone because he dropped couple of his smartphones including BlackBerry in the construction field. He shows interest in my set after looking at it due to form factor.
I am seeing many people here now using copies of E72 and BlackBerries because they are cheap and they have full keyboard for much comfortable texting. Personally I will never go for Nokia BUT there is a market for these stuffs, huge market.
Also what I learn that Nokia's fan on lower and mid-end buying-ship will never go for any other brand including China copies so I can say Nokia is hitting the right target at very right time.
