But it shows couldn't verify update package....
Do I need an unlocked bootloader for this?

AnonD-597896, 15 Oct 2016Its already officialy updated to marshmallow. In which plan... moreMr. Tabrez I think the marshmallow update is not available in India by OTA. You have to download developer Rom from http://en.miui.com/download-301.html manually and its a developer Rom not the Stable Rom.

Need an update on redmi note 3 to marshmallow.
And please deal with the issue on ram management where vibe shot is able to free upto 2gb ram by the Marshmallow update! So try to solve the ram management in redmi note 3.
