Samsung's entire 2016 smart TV line-up will feature IoT support

30 December, 2015
Samsung has announced that all the TVs in its 2016 line-up will feature Internet of Things (IoT) support as well as SmartThings platform integration. For those wondering, SmartThings is an open platform that lets users connect, manage and control smart devices and IoT services, something which they can do directly from their smartphone and SUHD TV.

regs, 30 Dec 2015No Samsung for me until they replace my defective SGS6. No ... moreyou must just have real bad luck with warranties, or you are expecting them to fix something you did, which no company does that. kind of like a friend of mine who non stop whined about an asus tablet he had way back when and swore up and down asus should fix it. mind you he bricked it playing with roms. but hey that shouldn't matter. because i personally have never had anything but good luck with samsung support. I remember a time my samsung bluray player got turned off when i was unaware that it was doing a firmware update in the background. mind you my fault, but in a way not. because all i did was turned off the samsung tv it was connected to and had that stupid asynch turned on , and the tv turned off the bluray player. when i went to turn the bluray back on to watch a new movie , it was a large brick. i called samsung support , had it 1 year 2 months. so i knew it was out of the 1 year warranty, to be honest i called them to just get it fixed , and i would pay for it. they got my information , sent me a shipping label so i could ship it to the service center. on top of that they extended my warranty for free going above and beyond for me , so i got it fixed free of charge had it back in under 2 weeks. i have had nothing but good luck with them in everything i have purchased from them. which is why the few times i have went the cheap route instead of through them , i have grown to regret it.

regs, 30 Dec 2015That's manufacturer's warranty. That's official Samsung Ser... morethen it must be your specific region then.
in my past experience, i had a faulty S Duos two years ago which was easily returned and on my demand, they gave me a REFUND in cash. then I went on to buy an S4 and now currently using an A3. no issues whatsoever. u might be just unlucky to get a defective flagship phone then.

@GSMArena, do you have any higher contacts with Samsung? May be they can assist the situation and can help to deal with boorish Samsung Russia service?

Here is my act from Samsung Service Plaza. It just ignores problems saying anything fine and we won't fix anything.

And here is video of the problem with mail reply from Samsung manager that just laughs into face saying if you don't like something in our products, just sue us. Read description.

Samsung has really poor customer service even for their flagship products, they just ignore you until you have to start to write to their country manager

Other companies are far more easily
