Bought it yesterday.. Specs seems perfect and Camera quality is awesome..

My feeling is that the OS has many bugs cuz they keep happening. also i was was not impressed with the overall phone functions and screen resolution....

I have been using the MS 950 XL DS for one week now. I am very disappointed with the phone. i even went back to my iPhone 6.
i don't know what is wrong with MS? they don't compare their phones with others!!!
many software silly issues that makes u wanna break the phone, like when u open messages and it says loading..... for more than 30 seconds, change some setting then you restart! Call history disappear.... the notification icon of outlook emails/ missed calls and text messages all use the same icon and u dont if u received a missed call/text message/ on top of the screen. many things bugs u when using the phone...
honestly i don't like the phone and i will go back to iPhone

On this spec alone the phone must be superfast.my Lumia 820 on 8.1 is as fast as z5 compact, smoother & screen much better.Would love a 950 compact please microsoft

The past two days have highlighted a serious problem while on sat nav both with microsoft maps and waze. Freezing..have had to reboot 6 times..maps getting confused and not working out location..I need no nonsense maps every day with my work..Had the update this afternoon but no improvement. Anyone else having a problem with this?.. I've had it a week so I can return it. Never had a problem with this in 18months with my 1020..

I see it more as an 'ooops! the software needs another fix' from Microsoft who uses its 3% market share as beta testers.

Have to say i'm very impressed with MS, on Android you wait months on an update then have to get a hacked one of XDA developers as the official one still has bugs. So far my 2 MS updates have brought improvements with no new issues (as off yet).

Don't know when a battery life improvement update will be coming.. And I have seen speed comparison videos of 950/950xl and other flagships.. And really worried about the boot speed, app start speed and autofocus speed. All are really slow. Only multitasking is comparable. Need improvement.. I need to wait to upgrade to high end Lumia.

Got it updated and my regional keyboard was experiencing crashes in some keystrokes! Let me see if this gets fixed in tihs!
