Lenovo Vibe Shot battery life test

03 January, 2016
The Lenovo Vibe Shot comes with a 3,000mAh battery. Not bad for a 5" phone, but is it enough?

You guys should also do a 3G/4G connected web browsing. Nowadays, we use our phones a lot while being on the move, relying on non-WiFi connection. To make it even more realistic, there should be messaging apps running in the background sending/receiving messages.
I have this phone since Sept last year. On average, I get around 3 hrs of screen time (using GSam Batt Monitor to record) with the screen brightness very close to the lowest level allowed. This is with constant 3G/4G connection used by messaging apps and Bluetooth connection with my smartwatch. Based on this, there is a factor of approx 2.5 if we compare against the WiFi browsing test results.
By the way, I cannot find a list of apps installed when you guys did the testing. It's really hard to gauge the results without knowing what is installed/running in the background.

The website test should do quite well too.
"Should," but the Endurance rating test by 50 percent is less than we expected.
