Followd instructions, everything worked just fine! Thanx! Got an G3 D855 (Norwegian) and the update was a success. All photos, sms, e-mails, apps & settings was OK after update. Had to do 2 reboots though, the phone didn't manage to update all the apps on the first reboot.
                    Thanx a million! :)

                        Getting Android Marshmallow

First things first, unlocked phones will always get Android updates faster than those sold through a carrier. That's because each carrier has to receive the update, test it and approve it for release on their network. That process can take weeks or months.

But before it even reaches a carrier, a new version of Android has to go from Google to smartphone chip makers and then to smartphone manufacturers. Since there's a plethora of Android phones out there, with different internal workings and custom skins on top of the OS and many carriers worldwide, this entire update process can take months or years. Furthermore, some older devices lack support from the company that made them, which means they may never see the update.Source Cnet

                                      "LG G3

Verizon is the only U.S. carrier that has released Android 6.0 for its LG G3 users. Its international variants are expected to receive Android Marshmallow upgrade this month."

Where in the article did the author say that he is sure that the G3 international variant will be updated on or before 29 March? I could not see any. And also notice that the article was posted 10 March, days before the 14 March people were expecting the MM update. He is just also assuming.

I want an official confirmation form LG. Not a mere assumption.
