Wow the specs are a little disappointing, maybe because I expected more from an LG flagship judging by their previous models. 5.3-inch QHD display is fine, it's a nice handheld size but 3Gb of RAM and 32Gb of internal storage (compared to V10's 4Gb/64Gb setup) and below standard 2800mAh battery seems pretty mid-range for a 2016 phone. Maybe LG had to cut corners because of the addition of a secondary display.

Why are you people freaking out, I have the V10 an my battery life is fine. The second screen saves battery an a smaller SoC chip size will consume less power overall, meaning you'll get even more battery life from the same sized battery
Non the less, having a larger battery would be appreciated, espically if were going to have modular hardware ports for stuff, an larger battery and a thicker phone would be ok with me

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! LG....that rumored 2800mAh battery and 3GB RAM will be a sure SALES KILLER for many.
I am sorry...i don't care from which OEM, my next device must have a massive battery (removable will be perfect), 4GB RAM for a 2016 flagship, in my view will be nice for LG to implement its own take on front firing speakers instead of a secondary display. I will be fine with a 5.3" QHD screen with minimal bezels and a high 75+% screen to bezel ratio.
The OEM that can deliver these simple but top specs for 2016....a high capacity battery plus fast charging, SD820, 4GB RAM, decent 21MP rear w/a 8+MP front camera, iris/finger print scanner, a 5.2" to 5.5" QHD screen (amoled will be best with decent screen protection Gorilla glass 4 with shatter proof protection like the Moto X Force or even LG V10 etc), stock Android 6 or close to it and a few other phone goodness... will win lots of hearts & $$$$$.

I propose improvements compared with G4:
Better battery
Fast Battery Charging
4gb ram
820 snap
5,5 display
Minimal 64GB memory
Fingerprint or eye, temperature scanner
Speakers at the lower edge or on the front side
The last part of the phone should be level, not rounded off
Reduce screen-to-body ratio
WHO CARES for the Secondary display!
WHO CARES for Leather!
Then you can say that this is the best phone of 2016!
