Yes now we can see , one another company is entering to a line as followed by many companies in decades,
This is a very old strategy and it will not worth in a long term of business, as they are making inexpensive devices and selling it with higher price because of its bigger size and some of the software changes. of course currently Xiaomi is selling many lower priced devices , but its going to be change as companies vision is changing to something else, for an example now some of basic TVs are available from the company in reasonable price and yesterday they had launched one super expensive device, for a reference the currently running basic model will be soon replaced with a higher priced new variant of the same, but in actual the difference in MFD cost of two variants not even countable and some time it can be lower for new models, at this time Xiaomi thinking differently because they already got a brand name and a big crowed to follow them so they can easily increase the price with out any bounce back.....
Again in India they are trying to making there dives is apart from cheap price market. for a reference two week back Xiaomi launched new device called Redmi Note prime, and price 8500/- but in reality we can get more capable devices at the same price with even more high end hardware....Xiaomi is changing as a Sony or Samsung known for there over priced devices... and think about these companies stands in mobile phone market share.... its dropping and not increasing......

Even tv have specs like smartphones now. I am impressed. Now, put a Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 in that smart tv please. So, i can run android or windows on it. Oh, almost forgot to ask whether it is touchscreen or air gesture?
