Definitely wouldn't believe this leak. Not only is March not capitalised, but look at the days - Tuesday march 1 and Tuesday march 2. Really bad gimmick from whichever scheister leaked this! Certainly wouldn't believe Samsung will drop Camera specs either - I have the Samsung Galaxy S5 with 16mp - why would the S7 have less? Makes no sense at all.

AnonD-463876, 04 Jan 2016Enjoy your 2015 class spec phone lol Actually not having a removable battery is the anachronism.

Each year phones are evolving only ever slightly, so at this point a 2015 spec phone with a 2016 spec phone indeed features few (if any important differences).

So -yeah- a 2016 spec phone with sealed battery is many times worse than a 2015 phone with removable battery. Similarly to how Note 5 was a serious diwngrade when compared to Note 4.

To refresh your memory, a removable battery means:

Instant charge (just pop in the spare).
Infinite battery (carry a 2nd or 3rd spare with you).
Phone longevity (when your main battery starts hoilding significantly less charge you buy a new one).

To sum it up, comfort, portability, longevity. No amount of 2016 spcs can beat that...

MaxSmarties, 04 Jan 2016Exciting? To me is more of the same by Samsung.... Nothing ... moreEdge and Edge+ aren't your typical phone, it still hasn't lost its novelty yet because other than Priv there are very few phones in the market with that hardware feature. You won't see that many drastic design changes from any manufacturer these days everyone is playing it safe.

you can't have a removable back if the phone is made of glass or unimetal body.... but if samsung doent make the phone with glass panels and go back to plastic then you will be saying that it doent have a premium feel.... I understand that we need SD card slot cause its the cheaper way to get some extra space but about the battery do you ever carry an extra battery just to swap when your phone is uncharge.... almost no body do that so samsung will go for the premium feel cause that it what the most of people wants. the MP on the camara will not make a better a camara everybody like Iphone pictures and the have not increase from 8 MP until the IP 6S.

AnonD-183089, 04 Jan 2016if this is true so samsung's last year in mobile devices in... moreYeah that makes sense, the top smartphone maker in the world is just gonna pack up its bags and leave because its camera is 8MP less than you want it to be, even though they have a reason for going with 12MP. Just get a Mate 8 Samsung isn't for you.

I'm interested to see how good low light shots really look with the new camera. Everything else looks as expected for a top-of-the-line Samsung phone.

Comparing my nexus 6p and my now sold galaxy s6, the Samsung wasn't able to capture any more details even with more megapixel. So the 16 is way more than it can fill... Wouldn't be surprised if they put in a 12mp sensor and getting awesome pictures. Samsung was always good for finding a good camera solution (if we take away the s5, this one was just not good) and now it's time to improve the low light performance. The s6 lacks a serious capabilitie to capture colors when it's getting dark, the nexus pictures just look way nicer and I expect that to change next year
