When it comes to solid state storage, it is an undeniable fact that Samsung has a way with SSD's. In the relatively short time since the mass popularization of the technology, Samsung has managed to establish itself as the dominant force in the realm and understandably so, with advanced solutions, often clearly superior than the competition, not to mention a competitive price strategy.

drolling despite the price .. but ssd have questionable life span .. but as portable its better than hdd in case of falling etc

          for 1/8 of the price, 100usd can get 2TB usb 3.0 Portable HDD at the drawback of 8 times larger volume & 8 times slower speed.

                    Its way faster than regular hdds. A 128gb ssd would be priced same as a 2tb hdd.

                      What about power consumption? Lifespan?
                      I think portable hdd with battery+wifi still best solution, and cheaper.
