middlefinger, 05 Jan 2016LOL ... u dont even know latest phones use Li-Po batteries ... moreLi-pol still lose charge. They start doing so after many more charge cycles, but once they start losing charge they lose it *hard*. If anything li-pol makes the problem *worse* for power users. One more reason to think that the market does not care about the power user, one more reason to give them the finger.
As for how I get infinite battery. Really? Is that your question? Have you not heard of battery chargers. Once my battery dies I replace it with the one in my wall charger (all the while putting the uncharged battery back to charging). That's a 1 minute procedure to give me 100% battery.
When I'm out (away from plugs), I put one of my two spares (again instant 100%). My 3 batteries combined give me 18 hours screen on time, which amounts to 3 days of medium-heavy use away from any plug .
The "secret" is that I charge *while* I'm using my phone elsewhere. Sealed batteries can't do that, they always have a "charge-time" downtime. Mine is 1 minute every 8-10 hours... 2 minutes a day at most... That's infinite battery for you (almost no downtime).

middlefinger, 05 Jan 2016u still crying about same issue man .. come on ..grow up pl... moreIt's charge cycles and high current drain that kill the capacity of a battery and a lot of people barely ever use their phone so could last 5 years without noticing too much loss of battery life.
But then there's people like me who is a heavy user and after 2 years the battery would barely hold a charge so have to change the battery every year.

middlefinger, 05 Jan 2016u still crying about same issue man .. come on ..grow up pl... moreYou should release a paper stating that li-ion batteries do not lose 30% of their charge every two years.
A) That will make you famous as you will disprove ALL research on the matter
B) Will make you unbelievably rich as it would be the perfect propaganda for companies like Apple who live on by sucking the low brow understanding of the world that their users hold.

[deleted post]No I phones are for rich dumb people. $1000 phones that give absolutely no value.
Note series are for professionals, (apart from Note 5 which is for kids like you).
Imagine never charging your phone (infinite battery), imagine having infinite storage with carefully labeled content (one SD for music, one for movies, one for games and of course the internal storage for work stuff).
Imagine one device to replace them all. My notepad , my laptop, my game console, my TV (with gear VR). What does Note 5 replaces? Oh know I remember , your money for Samsung profits. Good work there genius, you just made some Korean buffoons rich, you must be very proud rewarding incompetence...

[deleted post]I paid $1000 because I bought the 64gb version plus a couple of micro SDS and extra batteries.
BTW decide, am I cheap tosser or someone who gives too much for phones?
I'll tell you what I am, someone would would gladly give a $1000 for something that does the work of several multi thousand dollar worth devices.
What I would not t do is give $600 for a paper weight like your phone, which BTW you'd need to replace in less than two years because of its sealed battery, because you have been duped. Thankfully Note 5 sales saw a sharp decline, so there were not many people like you, they saw that phone for the kids toy that it is..

My Note 4 has replaced my laptop, my pc, my game console for most of everything, Note 5 is a toy phone, for "camera people" (really youmshould be buying galaxy s6 , the note series is not supposed to be for kids).

[deleted post]Another 3 years in fact. Yeah, I'm a cheap tosser that gave $1000 for his phone, probably thanhow much you hgave for your phones.
Don't you get it? I don't mind paying for my phone. I mind being conned with less value, just because low brow people like you would buy anythinhg new, even though it's an obviously worse product. If we had less Neanderthals buying phones, maybe, just maybe the industry would had been forced to produce value each year instead of removing .
If you stop rewarding lousy behavior, they will stop doing it. Who would have thunk that?!

This remains to be seen when it finally comes out in the market. With all this speculations and rumors around, it is simply to tease peoples' interest. I hope Samsung will go back to its expandable storage w/o sacrificing its advance specs and designs.

[deleted post]A phone is not meant to be replaced every two years because there is simply not that much of a difference any more. Sure in the first days of smartphones it was the case, but now we're almost in stasis, even cameras don't evolve as fast and storage and battery took a decisive step back by sealing them in.
Not only is it dumb to replace your perfectly usable phone every 2 years, but also criminally negligible as it gives credit to practices such as Samsung's (producing a phone just for the heck of it, despite decreasing value).
Phones decreased e-waste by replacing most of the rest of our devices with one that consumes less than 5w. But Replacing it every two years is a silly practive that puts the stress back to the environment without adding any significant value to the user anymore.
The 2-year replaceable cycle was thought in late 00s when phones were actually moviung fast. Get on with the the times dumbo. My Note 4 destroys ALL phones out there. The phone industry is becoming like the TV industry where a certain pioneer Kuro was the king of Image quality for 5 years, unchallenged. Things change slowly, stop replacing your phone every two years, its criminally insane if done by enough people.

Sounds like a good phone, but why can't Samsung make it the best and a phone base on what customers want on their phone. A premium built a fast processor removable big as possibly can battery water proof SD card up to a maybe 1 terabyte 4k screen and a good camera common Samsung...won't it be great!
