Those professionals defend iPad pro for superiority performance over surface. I used a multilayer project for a deep root city in it. What happened? Simply crashed.
I don't know how a lite version of a software is better than full version of that software!?!
If you want to be relevant and valid, learn programming in both platforms, use their SDK, develop and then judge.

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA, and geez you certainly were very bored when typing out that essay, most of which is just pointless driveling on and on, but in short, I am not an App developer, but any real app developer will tell you that Mac OS is the best OS for them. Microsoft is common place. That doesnt make it great. Bare in mind that once a person gets used to something great they simply wont settle for less. In your case it seems your ecosystem is geard around Microsoft, and if thats what your used to then by all means. I will not stoop so low, as MY eco system is completely and utterly geared around Mac and iOS. Back when Apple was doomed, was when I was already invested into them. Windows and anything Microsoft has been an allergy of mine for decades now. I can understand why most of the world finds it useful. And That's great, microsoft provides to those who cant get Apple products for the reasons you mentioned.

I visited personally more than 250 hospitals, except info gathering which mostly is done by iPads (iOS) and other android tablets, the intelligent center which consists of nuclear department, operation rooms and ICU, CCU are all use solely Windows to operate those sections. Adoption never becomes usefulness unless they test features regularly.
Kinect is a hand in operations, robotics is another hand to do operation virtually; Robotics in journals is specific to apple with massive advertising; The fact is another thing.

Microsoft after WM6.5 was gradually becomes sick. Now windows 10 is new blood to keep on track. Who supported them? Apple propaganda or Google unfair playing?

I have many programs and the ability to do programming in Microsoft's platform. My Office works well and is fully functional in My Windows running PC. Both PS4 and XOne are my gaming consoles. Matlab, CATIA, 3DS MAX and Visual Studio work perfect in my every day tasks. Now I have to swap them totally with a platform which support some of them fully? For Just $3K?
Mac OS is operating and functioning fully on a CISC CPU and architecture, so it is grown up. I talked about Current generation, not the time of G4 Cube Mac machines.
Next Generation maybe becomes Apple users, but unfortunately Apple is unable to understand that more than 70% of the world are average and below average people who even cannot afford a $600 laptop, let alone MacBook Air, iMac, iPad or even an out dated iPhone (iPhone 4).
The Giant, super powers etc. are in stories for children in order not to touch meat grinder.
Apple is above Microsoft in performance, 20% more powerful. In what aspect? Who tested it? Designer of iPhone? Hollywood celebrities? Movie industry? Have you ever create an app? Do it in both Platform with the same functions and graphics. Test it on your iMac and a PC with identical Hardware. I do not judge, be fair and test it. The result will shock you.

For the £300 extra (basic i5 128GB) I get more pixels, a TOUCH screen, as well as a touch pad, and a surface pen with which I can write on the DETACHABLE screen that becomes a tablet.
What is not to like?

I installed Microsoft Excel but it can't run my supreme emeperor level macro codes. Mac is good for personal use, but for enterprise, nope!

That doesn't take into account the number of people using Windows on Apple devices. I've owned several hybrids/laptops over the years (HP Envy 14, Dell XPS 15z, Microsoft Surface Pro, Microsoft Surface Pro 2), but none of them even come close to matching my Macbook Pro. It's the first Laptop I've bought without buyer's remorse. It's great for developing software (Much better than Windows) and has better build quality than most, if not all, competitors. It even runs Windows better than most Windows-oriented laptops

AnonD-362866, 05 Jan 2016These prices are going to drive Macbook sales ;) who in the... moreNot everyone likes mac...infact after using iphone i cant use it again...infact most people around the world use windows i can say 80%...i just purchased the surface pro 4 with type keyboard and i must say its wow...i dont carry my lap top anymore...all my work is done on pro 4 and windows 10 is awesome...iam using lumia 950 ds aswell...iam happy with microsoft family...and with universal apps life is easy...and battery life of more than 10 hrs i dont hqve to carry my charger every where...
I also use android phone lg g4...but windows id best for work

And it has one form factor what MacBook doesn't have. Using it like a paper on a pad for drawing, noting, etc. You'll need to fork another fortunes for iPad Pro for that. In Surface Book, you can simply detach the screen and be good with it.

The bottom line is Windows is the inferior OS. Why waste money on Microsoft if you're purchasing it for yourself? Your not at work where your basically forced to use a windows PC. You Say Mac OS is grown up, no sir, it was grown for a whiiiile. What it is, is the supreme emperor of the desktop OS world.

Those who work with and need Legacy software which mostly are unavailable in apple platform, (Not graphic centric software only) i.e. Hospitals in their specialized sections, Almost all oil purification assemblies, large scale farming plants, and those who always complain about underpowered bulky laptops to carry in their office are ready to spend more than $3K to have their PC and Laptop in full power in their hand.
Mac OS is already grown up alongside what iOS did, but remember the world is not just, Japan, US and UK.
Although, in terms of local graphic processing (Gaming, Movie industry), Mac OS is very well above Linux, it is not that much above Windows.
In case of networking, protocols are mostly standards and as Apple is against general and public standards, the gap will be visible.
Designer has a Mac Book and cooperate in a network full of PC's: the result is convert, convert, malfunction, and they will face slow down rendering or exporting a project into standard format.
The resolution: 500 PC will be swapped with 500 Mac = a huge amount of money to through out and spend another budget to obtain merely 20% more performance. it is not logical.
With Surface Book or any other portable full PC, this gap will become hide.
So, Most of people intentionally or vice versa are in the current strategy of industry and if anyone in order to save a portion of nothing in dollar, their loss in financial year will cut some part of their predictable income.
Specs of such devices are far beyond most of their already used machines. With triple the price.
