Canon announces two superzoom and three compact budget cameras

Canon has announced five new cameras, two of which are superzoom cameras and three are compact point and shoot. All the cameras are meant to be affordable for those on a tight budget.

NOT even $150 smartphones that are able to capture 1080p have 20MP with a quality sensor, an OIS, and 10x optical zoom. Any $200 (launch price) smartphone with Full HD recording capabilities I search up on the phone finder can only shoot 1080p at 30 frames per second max

    try to record action video, like sport and you'll see the different between the two.

        720p video? Even $100 budget smartphones have 1080 video recording. Smh

          Why would anyone get those compact ones? And they shoot 720pp video. Most phones, even budget ones do 1080p or better. :/

            400$ for a camera which does not shoot in 4K? Forget about it...
