GPU is about 2/3 but it needs to push half the pixels only. Screen bigger for a phone of similar size. Battery is bigger (we've yet to see though how that translates in practice). I don't need a phone right now, but I would choose this hardware over a nexus 6p.

No. But better Battery, no overheating and b... moreFor sure you will find about 5 ppl that find the 1080p LCD screen better than the qhd of the nexus since screen quality is always a bit subjective too, but the majority of customers would still prefer the nexus screen so its safe to say it has the "better" screen.
And overheating. Yeah, heard about it but never saw it in real life? How is it like? I mean I'm using a nexus 6p most of the time and it never happened to me, so this should not be a big problem when no one has a problem with it ;)
In terms of battery life the nexus is just average, not bad but not good as well, so in the end you have to decide if you want to have the better phone or the phone with the longerasting battery

Very expensive for a chinese brand IMO.64gb model is also way more expensive .Huawei is asking too much for the 1) extra 1000 mah battery juice 2) two sims and 3) a sd card slot.
One is Better off with afforable note5 which has more and other extra features too..it also comes with a f/1.9 camera apretures for both front and rear cameras for better low light photography and note5 looks are also great too.
so note5 only if the above mentioned 3 things are not very important.

No overheating or throttling issues, all the while maintaining peak power. To top it, it goes easy on battery as well. We are in treat for impressive chipsets in this year 2016 in android world.

Definitely a step back from the nexus 6p. Smaller camera sensor, worse speakers, worse screen and only half the GPU power (I don't mind in a slightly stronger CPU that you won't notice anyways when the GPU is way worse and won't allow things like 240fps video etc.)

if only that phone was 4.6" to 5" instead of almost nexus 7 tablet size... i also thought huawei was low price phones, with ok specs. but i guess not.
