Although many will say that I am a lunatik but I could not help it and ordered one...I just totaly in love with the looks of this awesome phone and cant wait to recieve it!!!
I worked my ass of and been waiting for a year to get it but now I have been told that it will be shipped to me by the end of January 2012...
It's one of those things...you need to do one grazy thing in life and I did it by buying this redicilous expensive phone! maybe I will regret it , maybe not....time will tell but I'm sure that it will be a great phone!!!!

I know that if you're rich enough to buy this phone, you wouldn't concern yourself with spending a few hundred dollars more for the added frequencies but at the price they are charging, it should have included the US 3G frequencies from the start. It's a phone for rich businessmen and businessmen do a lot of international travel.

If they are going to charge between US$12,000 and $50,000 for a phone, they could have at least given it the 850/1700/1900 North American 3G frequencies in addition to the 900/2100 Europe and Asia frequencies.

For a "small" fee you can have the internals upgraded to the latest tech, and have the outside serviced. The idea being that the outside is a collectors item - with Ulysse Nardin mechanism - and the inside can move with the times.

I already own a SE PURENESS (which I hate by the way), and consider myself a fool (as I actually paid good money for it).
This ULYSSE NARDIN CHAIRMAN 2 is totally out of my price range but I think it is the direction that Luxury phones will take in the future. In a strange way I think this phone will sell very well because it has a lot of gold, features and runs Android (which I love).

Wow.. very nice phone, and i generally loathe luxury phones. The auto recharging battery is awesome. Who knew something like that existed.

Few years back i sold a used Rolex yacht watch higher price than the original...lol, and why that..., it's because the man can't wait more than a year to get delivered to him after he order it..., they say it's handmade, it takes time to make it, and such complains...!
