I have some doubts about hike's business model. they never mentioned how they get money and giving away money to its own users. what is the monetization method they follow to spend so much money in advertising and users. something is wrong with hike just like free basics

This company is owned by the Mitttal family which owns Airtel which supports differential pricing, now that the boot is on the other foot and they are on the receiving end, will they continue to support this type of pricing

I like hike messenger coz it has better functions and features than WhatsApp. U
You can also send sms text messages to your friends if they are offline.. U can send any type of files like apk apps also WiFi sharing like xender, shareit or zapya. There are huge no of emojis and stickers.

Hike has no source of profit or any business model. It is still operating on loss with no clear future or major backers. It is alive on the mercy of its investors' money. Its just another copycat from bharti airtel, like we always do. Please don't compare it with a solid product that whatsapp is. No advertising, just word of mouth, most popular in India and worldwide, available on more platforms, faster, bloatfree, secure. Hike only hopes to amass a huge userbase so that it ends up getting bought by someone or else its doomed.

I personally like Telegram... its lighter than Whatsapp... Whatsapp just got the user base thats it... otherwise it is not great as compared to other IM apps !!
