Best nokia phone 6234! (apart from camera) Still using mine today! easy to hold, tough, loud, and simple to use.
Recipe for perfect nokia comeback phone=1) LOUD stereo speakers at top of phone (like 6234) not at the back or bottom where my hand will muffle speaker! 2) Latest connection options(4g, 3g wifi etc) 3) Great camera with all the usual specs of a great nokia lens 4) Always have an option for t9 predictive text when messaging 5) Water/dust/shock/scratch proof 6) easy to use with one hand! 7) High capacity battery (not just one day) that is replaceable 8) Go back to candy bar or flip phone form BUT KEEP THE HIGH SPECS! Thinner phones are wearing thin, and bigger screens are losing their novelty. anything over 4.5" is overkill. If nokia go thin with larger screens whats the incentive of buying nokia? Isn't everyone doing that now? At the risk of sounding old fashioned they need to build a phone thats ergonomic, robust, and easy to use.
I know what - make it just like my 6234, only slightly bigger, better camera, better screen, 1gb ram, 4g, wifi, 3.5mm headphone jack, and waterproof! ahhh Perfect! I'd be the first to buy!!!

I don't see interest in nokia smartphone today unless they inject some of what made them successful into whatever they bring out now not just the same as what is out there. a design similar to the E and n series smartphones would be nice mixed in with the ios and android interface. I imagine an n9 running the latest android version on the latest and best hardware. anything but that would just be lumias running android.

I'm a Nokia fan but the leaked phone was just an HTC One and iPhone copycat. I want Nokia to design weird but gorgeous phones like what they did in 2005. Nokia should differentiate itself from the competition. I know they still have brilliant talents inside. Make a big comeback NOKIA! I'm very EXCITED!

Nokia 230 is recently came into market which is good but the bar shape is not straight. It is bent from back side which not good to handle. it should be flat bar shape which looks very nice like Samsung B 360. My suggestion is to introduce again Nokia 231 with modified model which should be straight flat bar shaped.

Hers on my nokias I wait and pray for my n8 and 808 to be able to use email properly and to have maps etc back on their native sybian, belle and other operating systems. I want Raw suppor on these machones as on the newones, and I at least expect Nokia Pro and Panorama back and available, now Microsoft relinquish control of these essentials. Never mind whether new finnish nokias use android or windows, there aew still millions of people globally relying on these great phones.
However, as an innovative company I expect a great 3D stereo stills and video machine using 1 inch sensors. With a comfortable grip. I expect f1.4 24mm sharp all over lenses.
As a photographer I know the future is with such machines as their vast depth of field sees more as we humans do relative to conventional optics on big sensors. Combined with newer bigger screens they will overtake even the fixed lens pro machines of today as their fast lenses at full apertures have no depth of field at all.
