LG has used the same 3000 mAh capacity in G2, G3, G4 and V10, and is rumored to use 2800 mAh in the G5. It's just stupid, with all the new powerful processors and large screens. No one dares to put in a battery that will last a full 2-3 days with heavy use. All manufacturers claim "full day battery life".

On the other hand, Chinese manufacturers are trying to improve on this (Xiaomi has good capacities but there are others such as Ulefone Power with 6000 mAh batteries). However, they are using power-hungry chipsets such as the Mediatek ones so the battery life is not as good as it could be.

I guess we will have to wait until Apple will concentrate on battery life, so that the others can copy it like they always do :)

It's best for samsung to have Exynos 8890 Octa as chip as it's far better than SD820

Definetely not once a year, this is business and they know improving battery life is not a smart move, they don't give a crap about customer's satisfaction, they just want your money every year.

I'm undecided on this phone. I think I will go with the S7 Edge, and that depends on the battery and a few other specs.

I don't understand these OEM's.They make the smartphones faster every year with better screens and camera. But they always fail to improve the battery capacity. When will they listen?

It's really starting to get on my nerves, I don't like apple nor Samsung, now that Apple has gone 12 mp , s7 has to be the same regardless what consumers are demanding, force touch , finger print scanner, but seriously 12 mp for low light sensitivity ? Well I don't expect it to do great in daylight conditions which is far important to me , details of 12 have been mediocre with the 6s from Apple, anyways both companies are each other's medicine and disease really, copying here patents there, inventing stuff that aren't inspiring at all and calling it the unprecedented bla bla , mid range consumers have been ditching Samsung, and higher range ones are mostly annoyed with Apple rip off , so I see both continuing their trend in 2016 same ripping off here same copying there, nothing much to say

This is the edge version. G930 will be the regular S7, as per G920/S6 and G925/S6 edge right now. So the edge version will have a 5.1", not 5.5" as previously rumored. Bummer.
