Apple products are no measuremenet of success. People buy them just because it's Apple. I'm 90% sure if you'd package a turd and slam an Apple brand on it and it would capture 50% of the market. It's stupid and moronic and that's why I'm not buying any of this market share nonsense. Apple is nothing special, it's just a mass produced Chinese product like any other. And yet people treat it like some sort of holy grail. Pathetic.
It's the same nonsense as Intel graphics market share. Of course they have such huge share if they stick GPU cores into all motherboards and CPU's whether you like it or not and then they pof course count it as "market share" even though it's turned off on high end systems because they use proper stand alone graphic card.

When Samsung finally gives up on Tizen and starts selling Android Wear devices, things might change a little. They're making the same mistake Nokia made a while back by sticking to Symbian instead of taking Android aboard their phones.
