Anonymous, 16 Jan 2016Yes they are a good step in mostly power consumption then p... moreAt the risk of showing my age, my console gaming goes all the way back to the Atari VCS, and if I'd kept every console I'd ever owned I could open a pretty comprehensive console gaming museum.
I'm not a programmer though, so obviously will not have your level of insight in the actual performance capabilities, oh I can quote performance numbers and specs all day long, my knowledge of how they work though, and how most of those numbers matter though is limited.
I have however also come to the conclusion that yes, sadly it does seem this new generation are not quite where they should be in terms of raw graphical performance (still am really enjoying my PS4 mind).
Asides from the odd dabble on games like Command & Conquer, PC gaming has never appealed to me, though as an amateur tech enthusiast I have always enjoyed watching the advances made in the PC gaming world as much as in the console world.

I have had almost every console starting from super Nintendo. So even though I am bad mouthing the xbox one and ps4 I still own them. As a programmer I like powerful hardware and I noticed the shortcomings easily.
Which is also why I decided to stop responding to Parag B. Waste of time.

So bluetooth is a way to go it consumes way too less power and is still works flawlessly .i have millions of ps4 users to prove that.
Again Xbone controller does not even support Remote play with ur anciant RF tech LOL
I already know RF tech is fast as wi fi 2.4ghz but it sud be used where it will b best .I mean u dont need a 2.4ghz connection On a controller to control gaming consoles LOL.
I guess MS went with RF to save money as RF hardwares is super cheap.

1080p@60fps as a constant standard is what both Microsoft and Sony should have delivered for this generation, it's now obvious that is not the case.
That said, I still think both offer a good step up in terms of performance and features when compared to their predecessors.

When 360 came out it was way way ahead of the highest end pc.

Also you are wrong again. Xbox one has "true" emulation. Put disc in and play. See below

I'm a PC gamer over 15 years.Last year picked up a PS4 because I never had consoles and I wanted to see how is Next Gen console gaming......well...it blowed my mind....I must say 2015 was my BEST gaming experience I ever had on PS4 especially in multiplayer games ...you have to see it so you believe it(...I was blind cause of pcmasterace).....I think that PC is dying year by year and Next gen consoles are here to prove it....this is sad...even Steam is trying to copy somehow console UI and accessibility but needs a lot....lot ....of work to do...but will never,ever catch up consoles...

-my guess is neither sony or ms want to upset developers working on their consoles and thats probably why neither has true backwards compatibility,but unlike ps2 which doesnt sell anymore as its too old, xbox 360 still sells and my guess is they managed to gain favor of publishers by stating they could release games on 2 systems at once with emulation disc compatibility with xbox360 and xbone and have more audience that way
-and if you ask why cant ps3 be emulated so easily, that's probably due to ps3 having much stronger hardware compared to xbox 360 and due to using completely different hardware architecture

Nope,My logic is that the ds4 controller is way beyond the xbox one controller.Period.
5) Battery can be replaced. one does not need to buy a need to buy a new controller just cause the battery is performing.
Bottom line...Ds4 is way more advanced than Xbox one controller.

2. Xbox One controller has 3.5mm jack. Go educate yourself a new version of the controller was released months ago with built in 3.5mm jack.
3. Remote play... What does that have to do with the controller technology?
4. Triggers vibrating are kool, it gives feedback for Guns genius.
So everything the xbox controller has and Ps4 controller doesn't have is irrelevant to you? Nice logic.
5. When the battery eventually dies you will have to open the controller to change it. That's not an advantage.
Bottom line.... Pointless.

Idont know why play station seel so much, yeah it do has more power than the xbox one, but for what? the only games they launch are first shooter games, people continue buying call of duty everysingle year which is the same exact gameplay with nothing new? and fifa which is the same aswell, and you are getting charge if you want to play play station 2 games which maybe you allready have, but you have to buy it cause the "THING" cant just read the physical disc, and sony just want you to pay for the game again just because? and you call that better? and bayonetta 2 was game of the year and its for wii u so just cause you have a ps4 doesnt mean you have the better games.
