Microsoft is still on track developing an iOS bridge in Windows 10

16 January, 2016
One of the definitive cornerstones of Microsoft's Windows 10 platform is the push towards the new Universal Windows apps platform. It is an ambitious undertaking that is already showing great promise and allows developers to quickly reuse code across the Windows 10 ecosystem, regardless of device specifics. Microsoft Continuum for phones perhaps best illustrates the amazing potential of this approach and the progress the US giant has done with apps like Word and Excel.

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2016Is it legal to reverse engineer iOS apps like Microsoft is ... moreThey not really trying to to that, think of it more as making it easier for dev's to 'port' their apps to Windows. Porting might be a poor choice of words but bleh I'm kinda stoned lol... Anyways. This is a smart move on their part. A bit too little to late though, plus side is it might just give the Windows users some amazing apps which they currently lack. You also need to remember that a lot of the dev's out their either develop for iOS exclusively or have an exclusive iOS launch. So it doesn't necessarily mean it will also be available on Windows at first or at all. In the end it's still up to the dev's to support Windows as well.

Thay should fix whole windows platform first. Microsoft did you use your apps? Mail, messenger, video call, edge or groove music!!! Can you just grab ipad and compare groove music with spotify? And then just copy it. How you could even give it to clients!!!! All apps are so buggy, missing major functions. Guys you are missing last 10 years of IT. Do they pay programmers?
