NeonHD, 21 Jan 2016I will continue screaming over Sony until those HTC fanboys... moreI'm not an HTC fanboy. My last HTC phone was HTC Desire 5 years ago. Wasn't much satisfied with it back then, mainly due to lack of true multi-touch and lack of space for apps. And i don't much want HTC again.

The fact that Z5 model row has defective lens isn't bias. It's an acknowledged fact. Expressing concerns over it is a criticism.

The sensor is beyond fantastic, what's actually wrong about Sony phones is their terrible camera software. The Xperia Z5 has the best camera sensor their is, but the image processing software just makes the photos look bad.
But if Sony is making the Nexus phone, the camera is no problem as the entire Android software is based on stock android, meaning that Sony has no control of the camera app.
With that being said, SONY XPERIA NEXUS FTW!!!

Z5 h... moreNot sure what your point is exactly as the first link you posted relates to the Z5C (the alleged response from Sony, assuming it was from Sony states they have tested the phone and could not identify a problem, the second seems to be in Russian and the third is someone posting pictures but in respect of which no one is aware of the Test Conditions! Either way, the fact remains Sony is the biggest supplier of lenses to most OEM's as previously listed, we are not talking primarily about Sony's owns phone but providing the lens to HTC (rumoured) to produce the next Nexus and Sony's phones take very decent pictures in my experience. Oh, by the way, there is a reason for DSLRs so would suggest if anyone wants picture perfect photos, they might want to invest in one of those! For the record, proud owner of the Nexus 6P here with Sony lens in situ...!

There have been several thicker phones with huge batteries, all failed...

HTC should not be the manufacturer of next nexus. They are extremely overpriced. Sony should be the right choice.

Sony says they aware of the problem, but at the moment latest revision 4 is still defective.

only one nexus was the best and it was first Nexus One witch was produced by HTC
all other exus phones was shame.
hope this time HTC can make best nexus ever again.
