HTC to spin off its nascent VR business into a separate company

A report from the company's native Taiwan says that HTC is getting ready to spin off its nascent VR business into a new company.

            The steep price won't let them meet their expectations. Cheaper products like Rift and Morpheus will sell better, unles this year.

                  This is a bad sign from HTC. They might be considering closing down or selling their mobile business soon if things don't get any better for them. Too bad. XD

                    Wise move, while HTC is facing sale challenge, spinning off would let the VR division live on in worst case scenario, they realize their VR creation is too big to let it sink with HTC.
