So there's a problem with battery draining in G Turbo? I wanted to have 6.0 because of doze mode to extend battery time!
Anyone else in India which already got the update can confirm this? We users in México / Brazil are supposed to get the update soon, so I would like to wait if there's a problem.

ydb419, 20 Jan 2016After update to Marshmallow to Moto G TE I notice some batt... moreFor my moto x play , same issue. MY fone use to give almost 36- 42 Hrs on moderate usage and now after update its giving around 22-23 hrs max!! it has to do something with SD 615 or may be moto messed it up!!

Pls do not update ur fone to marshmallow specially moto users, its pathetic . I have moto x play , b4 update it use to get on moderate usage atleast 1.5 days and now its giving 22 to 23 hrs only !

Although its goin to be on a similar ground with Moto G3 except for Performance/Battery Life/Audio quality, request GSM Arena to do a review of the same ASAP. Thanks.

The Indian price for the handset has been reduced by another 2000 Rs (along with the same price cut for the normal moto g 3rd gen) which is 30 US $. Please update the article accordingly.
