Is this the new Nokia phone in the company latest video?

A large tablet shows up briefly, too.

Apple and Samsung are basically screwed, when Nokia gets it the right way.
I'm already seeing their sales dropping on the one fact of the sheer amount of Nokia's loyal fans on "standby"

The device in the video is a retouched Micromax Canvas 4 A210. Hope this helps to stop unnecessary speculation about future Nokia devices.

I can't really readily accept that the devices that they showed in the video are really Nokia prototypes or under development devices which Nokia will launch, I think they are just some random devices chosen from already existent tablets and phones just for the sake of delivering the message that they wanted to in the video. It is not like if I choose to show a ramdom car from the street in my video delivers the message that that car has something to do with me. So just relax till something concrete appears like a teaser from Nokia.

Hopefully Nokia will learn from its mistakes. Thier biggest mistake was not jumping and embracing Android. I was a big fan of Nokia, even bought their stocks during their worst times (big mistake). I believed they would make the right choice and give us what we as users wanted. I was wrong.

They announced a partnership with Microsoft and commitment to Windows Mobile. It was at that time that I gave up on them. My last device was the N900 which ran Meego. Awesome operating system but they gave up on it vs pushing it foward. What surprises me the most is that many saw them falling down this path with each move they made. Nokia seemed to ignore their users and gamble their odds.

Let's see what they bring this time around. I hope it works out for them and they learned from their mistakes.

Nokia is so good that they think with their own b brain and don't just follow other companies. Nokia need to revolutionize smartphones again. Many people don't see it but many technologies that were primary on Nokia mobile devices now are copied by Apple and Samsung just so hidden copy that nobody notice it. And later these companies call it innovation by them but all these technologies and ideas artery primary by Nokia.

Best strategy for Nokia will be to launch a premium and high end phone which should cost as much as Sony HTC and apple without cutting any corners that is as good as it can be without thinking about price. If Motorola and OnePlus can deliver near flagship phones at half the price of iPhone then making a phone with best tech and price equal to iPhone not impossible.
As having the best phone on market and as premium as iPhone will boost Nokia's brand image and the fan following is already superb so Nokia will become true competitor for Apple (I hope it to become true killer of Apple though).
So Nokia should two phones at high end... A 5.1" and a 5.9". With same specs. Just like iPhone.

Now they should launch a budget phone but instead of being premium here, they should focus on value for money in this segment and launch a moto g competitor.
Long Story short, best strategy for Nokia is just two product lines, most premium and budget (iPhone and moto g) and two products in each lineup (5.0-5.2 plus 5.7-6.0)

If there is something premium Nokia manufactures is their plastic chassis. There is just something special about them. Probably better than other OEMs' plastic bodies. Oh yeah, and they hit their price right more often than not

Looks cheap. But then again they would be absolute idiots if they jumped straight back into the premium game.

The phone shown in the video will sell better with that ugly design if it's a budget or low-end offering.
