i think this will be more blackberry concurrent
for business than nokia but HP have chance for
developing server client integrations of pda's
because of involvements in computer business where
blackberry and others are weak

I think this is great, for both Palm and HP. But I will tell you this, it isn't going to kill the iPhone or Nokia off, what it will do is provide for more choice. WebOS is a great mobile and most likely Slate OS.

There is no problems with chinese companies, just HP is way better when it comes to management and have an excellent after sales support.

Definitely has to do with HP cancelling the Slate (or rather, replacing Win7 on the Slate for webOS)

I think this is great. hp has been doing great with laptops and this is a good move on their part. its good for palm too because hp has tons of cash for r&d and marketing, and at least it wasnt some chinese company that bought them out.

OK all, THIS IS Palm's last chance to prove its worthy OS! But if given more than one good option it becomes very hard to choose the best.

Eldar from mobile review, reviewed the N8 with the Symbian S3, and he said it was a big fat do not like. I have the E52 and it's as boring as any samsung or lg or Sony degenerycson. I really can't wait for the new iphone to arrive. Bon voyage Nokia. You just flushed your last chance down the toilette.

Palm was once a great pioneer for mobile OS but lack of change and progressive development. They thought one OS could last forever but ended up being left behind.

This is probably the best thing that has happened in this year so far.
HP & PALM are both a world leading companies in their own areas and this marriage should be welcomed with a Smile as HP has global presence and Palm already has very good Engineering and Mobile Platform webOS. Now its upto the big guys from HP-PALM to give a big push to webOS and bring the best into mobile market which seems to be possible. Good Luck
