Big News Indeed..! Surprised to see the price of Gear VR. Its almost in par with the US price(+taxes) and cheaper than UK market. India is one of the largest electronics consumer in the world where any large corporation would like to launch their products first as they could gain a lot from it. Any delay in launch would only be due to govt and TRAI policies.

Every mobile first gets launched in India & China & then it reaches the rest of the world even flagships products , the reason for the late release of this dumb smart watchs are because there is little to no market here in India...!
People here in India don't waste money on this stupid watchs which are priced insanely high...!

Every mobile/electronic items are so damn costly in India. I guess only Moto sells it at par US prices here. Most other manufacturer prices are insanely higher compared to US prices.

I was expecting GearVR would be priced at 10000.
but this is mediumly great price.

One of the most not-so-interesting article of the day. I mean, come on. Gear S2 is so last year. India is a year behind the the rest of the world but no need to make a point about late released. I hope gsmarena would make a mini corner for news like this.
