Material, Metro, Color Gradient. These are the current trends. It's a change and will change again. Many will love and many will hate. Just like 80's or 90' fashion. It was a trend and now you look back it feels so different :)

Hopefully this conversation can soon get back to the topic at hand, personally I think this new look weather card is good, it at least has character and is not just another info card. The old look whilst quite functional indeed, was maybe in need of a fresh coat of paint.

Lots of people use phones 'as is' out of the box, and here's a fun fact for you, that includes both males and females, you take your childish, chauvinistic point of view on that front and stick it somewhere!
Another fact, pink coloured phones have been around in the Android world for a long time, draw what ever meaning from that you will.
And here's a little bit of advice, in your next nickname, change the 'H' to a 'Z' cause I think Zero fits you better than Hero.

You only have the mention couple words like Android and (for example) Childish to get huge attention from most of them..... I actually wrote an article for university about this which ended up really good.... On the other hand, iOS users aren't that much bothered about comments like this heading towards their OS... Interesting.... Really interesting. Anyway :) Peace too all :)

JD just made a silly comment, and couldn't even get that right, calling the weather information a 'childish app', when actually this refers to the information related to weather that gets displayed in google now. JD then calls the OS itself childish .
