I had chance to play with this phone. Its an awesome phone. 1080p display is not a big deal. It is almost a perfect phone. Only drawback is EMUI.

This is a great phone. The battery lasts me two days. There aren't really any negative things to say about it other than EMUI can be a pain but it's not all that bad. What I don't understand is why anyone would buy the 128GB version when it has an external SD Card. The only reason I can see is if you use the dual sim cards and need a ton of storage. For me the 64GB is more than enough. The Mocha Brown is very misleading and is NOT the color they show in the photos, it's a lot less brown and almost looks like a light bronze.

I have been seriously considering the 128 GB version (AL-10) which is only available in China and I have used the phone a bit in stores when I was recently in CHina. What I really like about the phone is the radio -- it supports so many 4G bands (18 I believe) and it still has SD card support too. I worry a bit about the charging times as it does not support Qualcomm 2.0 or 3.0 but it still seems to charge at a fast rate (albeit probably not as fast as an Oppo or the Meizu Pro 5). The problem of course with buying a Chinese phone is the need to install Google Play - on the last two Huawei phones I have had it was not a problem and I did not need to unlock the bootloader. This time though it is Android 6 and I do want to unlock the bootloader. In the end I did not buy it when I was in China and I regret it.

Huawei Mate 8 is a good phone. Sad that people think that it's not as good as Samsungs and Apple, mainly because of the brand.

-lumia 1520 with 3400mah endurance of 107h
-s6 active with 3500mah endurance of 109h
-xperia z3c with 2600mah endurace of 101h
if you look at s6 active it has quad hd which consume more juice but still manage to score almost twice battery life of mate 7 with only 3500mah

I used to think that 4k videos are useles to have now. But think about all of your black and white and or vhs memories. Dont u wish these were taken with a higer resolution or better format???
Again in the future we might use holograms or VR photos or something i dunno.. but its good to future proof your memories :)

you've got one wrong ! women usually buy huge screen phones because they carry them in purses etc. men only have their pocket so they prefer smaller than 5.5"

check gsmarena battery life list most of phones with good batterylife have either exynos or snapdragon.

Hey GSMArena team, please check it's call quality (on ear piece) thoroughly and signal reception.
Also kindly do check whether it has overheating issues or not while running heavy games and Apps
