I just ordered and received k4 note. But after 2 days the company launched k5 note in china. Shit!....... Somehow after 1 or 2 months the company may release k5 note in India. k5 note offers a better chip-set and a 8 megapixel camera that's only more in the successor.

[deleted post]i was just complaining about lenovo being a jerk.
first they get rid of motorola. now they sell too much phones with prbably only few updates. they shouldve just copy how motorola sell phones.. (sell few models, but with lots of updates).
and not just that, they make worst designed phone. K4 note is already decent, it is still ok, but it is still couldve been better. now theres that new lemon phone and K5 note. both have an ugly design, i just couldnt lie anymore. look at xiaomi, they had like a way better design phones.
also, im a no xiaomi fanboy. i own lenovo S650. i just want lenovo to get better.

OK, the hardware (and features) looks promising.
but the design!? yuck! they could've gone better. im sure i could made a better design phone. i even made it for myself yesterday (cause im bored). this design looks worse than K4 note for me :/

Edit: But yes it is weird when K4 Note has 3gb ram and this only has 2gb

However, my point still stands that opting for few cores increases it's reliability and compatibility, power consumption and thermals. Especially for mediatek being used for phones with little to no consideration for those things. Samsung's will be used for it's flagship, and will probably have sufficient development, both software and hardware, to use the mp12 GPU. Unlike chinese OEM's using stock android.

Lenovo now need to do new smartphone, how have to be smaller 4.7 or 5 inches for example, but with same desing and specs and with logic more cheaper:
1.Display.- 4.7 - 5"inches FHD - LTPS - CGG 4
2.Memory.- 2 GB RAM
3.Chipset.- MediaTek MT6755 ( helio p10 )
4.Camera.- 12 & 5 MP - 1080p
5.Battery.- 2500mAh
I don't fixing helio x20 or x10...OK ;)

This company Lenovo, will produce this phone for a target audience, namely, at young. They are intended for this phone after technical configurations.
I wish them the best of luck. It's worth it. They have very good products.

Which means, people who actually bought AND using the phone. Why would they lie about a device that they bought with their hard-earned money? Even the ones who are praising Moto G Turbo make a note of heating issue in their reviews. Having looked at that data, I would still think SD 615 is a heater by all means and I will stay away from phones with that chipset (pretty much all mid-rangers released in 2015 in Android world, which is exactly my need).

If you look at the reviews in flipkart, you will see heating as a common problem reported by many people. So SD 615 in any form is bad. Only the severity of the problem would vary, i guess.
On SD 650, there is no more overclocking of A53 cores. The architecture itself is much better for the A72 cores, so I would still assume there won't be heating problems.
