price is crucial so is extended memory card slots.and long battery life.if they are looking for India as market n in particular price sensitive market..service center are going to set the ball rolling..all the best for launch.

Xiaomi has demonstrated that he understood, wrong by its policy to last year. That is why it decreased sales.
Now, I expect to confirm fully at MWC, that it has adopted a new policy which to comply with the requirements of the consumer in the telephony market. Their new models, starting with M5 and later with M6, are to confirm or rule out this. Anyway, I hope that they will confirm.

This company Xiaomi begins to become increasingly more competitive with its products. Now, with the new phone, M5, and shortly with M6, will reach record sales despite those phones from Samsung, Apple.

I congratulate this company. I love the way their approach a new kind of thinking in terms of the relations between the manufacturer and the end customer cell phones.
If they continue on this line of thought will have a thundering success.

But seriously, cloud backup is not a good solution

Before that, I was a supporter of microSD cards, now I'm not. As long as you have sufficient memory in the phone and make backups to the cloud, its fine to have only built-in storage with no card support. At least, that works fine for me.

What's the deal with displaying price list on a phone? To make it believable?
Seems like besides the meaning of 2K, that "leaker" confused rounded edges with flat 2.5D glass with curved 3D glass. Latter is more expensive and can be found on Mi Note Pro and S6 Edge while former coming with budget phones like Meizu Metal.
Two plate of 2.5D glass wouldn't make a phone either more expensive or more desirable. On the contrary its fragile nature and fingerprint smudges would make it less desirable than a metal phone IMO.
That previously "leaked" render on that phone shows 3D glass on the front with slightly curved display akin to S6 Edge.
