                          In India, @68 INR for a $, I pay $6.17 for 1GB 3G data & thereafter unlimited 2G data with 500 Mins & 500 SmS.
In UK, H3G is offering AYCE 3G/4G Data for a mere £17 i.e 1666 INR or $24.43, thats of course, with 200 Mins & AYCE SMS. However, for Data they don't have a any Fair Usage Policy. You can use as much as you want & they won't restrict you.
If you want AYCE Data AYCE Mins &AYCE SMS it still is cheaper, only £27 that still less than $40 in USA for 1GB or 3GB Data ;)

9gb(4.5gb mobile data, free 4.5gb midnight to 7am) LTE data for $15/month in Malaysia. $2 for 1gb quota upgrade. Internet still free(throttle-free social pack) even if you don't subscribe as long as you stay active. Some carrier offer free wifi hotspot too, meaning your 6gb(example) quota is doubled into 12gb[6gb as mobile data & 6gb as wifi hotspot data]. Best of all, unlimited data after midnight, no caps, no charges and in LTE speed. Works both in Malaysia and Singapore. I am talking about two different carrier btw. I heard other country have $5 for 10gb data. It kept me wondering why US charged too much.

What many of you fail to realize is that the US is a much, much larger area to cover, and the population is much more spread out, versus a majority of the European and Middle Eastern countries.

                                        US: 3.806 million mi²
                                        Pakistan: 307,374 mi²
                                        Romania: 92,043 mi²
                                        etc.

Having to cover all of that land area costs a whole lot of money to build, lease, and maintain towers. Plus, these are all 4G LTE towers, so 100Mbps can be easily achieved even without carrier aggregation.

T-Mobile's claim to fame is having the fastest LTE network in the US (people have achieved real-world speeds of 200Mbps+), and having lots of services exempt from their data plans. On these prepaid plans, you can stream 100GB+ of music and not have it count against your data allotment. So yes, these T-Mobile plans look expensive, but that's because they have a ton more services than what most other providers offer.

There are cheaper services if you don't want the unique features offered by T-Mobile. There are two US cell providers that offer FREE service: Freedompop and RingPlus.
Freedompop has been around for a while, but their free service has stayed the same: 200min+500txt+500MB for just the one-time cost of the SIM card. Freedompop is even rolling out a free 200MB data plan that gives free international roaming in North America and many Eurasian countries.
Ringplus is the other major free service provider, and they have various plans that offer free monthly service for a one-time payment. One of their free plans, "Goya", gives you 1750min+1750msg+1750MB a month for a one-time, non-recurring fee of $20.
