How much I love Windows Phone and will probably always using it, there's no deny that since they bought the Nokia devices, they haven't done much for innovation. They fully went for the Windows 1o software, producing phones was like a nice extra. Nokia was in fact fully focusing on Lumia's, while Microsoft did the software. It was a good combination and would have been much better than it is now with Microsoft doing both. So a logical thing is yes, they sell a lot less phones cause people have to wait too long, and Nokia really did carry Windows Phone on it's own.

Yeah. Too much unfulfilled promises on MS end led to those sales numbers. Like someone said before "If only for a simple phone with 3G, then it's good. Smartphone - android." My second phone is Lumia 435 and as a phone ONLY it's good. But I am waiting for Nokia revival. This is exciting.

Windows phones are the best option if all you need is a simple phone with 3G support. Otherwise if you need a smartphone then it's Android.

AnonD-383472, 29 Jan 2016If WP had a more pleasing interface... The tiled look is a ... moreI would also prefer Windows over "Linux" (Android) like I do on my desktop PC, but the WP UI is just too damn ugly. Simple is okay, but it's never okay to take it too far and leave it without options. Cheap Lumia-phones are, however, the best what less than about 100 € phones have to offer.

The only thing I like about it are their hardware designs, windows OS interface, performance and lightness. I don't like management and development of the OS, lack of apps, managment of smartphone specs. Although their hardware designs seems to go on the wrong side also.

Hardware and OS wise its the superior most. It just needs to come with a new look. Mostly people only go by looks rather than quality and durability !

Hardly surprising,Micrososoft needs to get a grip with their phones.Taking too long for new models and os update I have given up and gone to android just so I can use paypal here for mobile payments.Love Lumia o's but needs the apps, apart from that the best phones around.I hope future surface phones will be more accomadating and have a mini version so I can come back.

The tiles are just perfect. All major apps are available. The problem is the lack of phone offerings. MS is really bad at distribution and communication but that is nothing in comparison to the 2-3years old open security holes without patching that e.g Android have...

Best to see 2016 Quarter 1 results since their 3 phones were released very late in that last quarter

Windows Phone is the best. Simply the interface of three phone will tell the story. WP shows updated status in detail on almost everything on screen which reduces time and interaction with the device. Best value for money. Microsoft should introduce Cortana and Maps for Pakistan and other populated countries where millions of people are waiting for these features. This will help Microsoft.
