What is happening in Mo... more@sosi Wow... I just relised that you were trying to say that non iPhone owners tend to change their phones more often. This is what happens when your grammar is poor and readers like me just skim your comment without much thought.
Well practically what I wrote below still applies. Rephrasing the question, what makes you think that owners of phones from Nokia, Samsung, HTC, etc. change their phones more often than iPhone owners? Think about it, a new iPhone comes out every year, a new Nokia comes out every year. Look at the N8, I bet you some N97 owners would want one. This is just an example.

What is happening in Mo... more@sosi Lol. Funny comment. This is why we have things called a job. By the time the next iPhone comes out, we would have recouperated a lot more than what was paid originally.
Also, what makes you think all iPhone owners buy a new iPhone everytime one comes out? Some people may choose to buy a different phone (and maybe sell their iPhone) and some might not even upgrade at all for some time. An iPhone is more of a luxury good, it's most definately not a necessity.

iPhone owner - love it, so cant see flash? who cares, everyday is new discovery about simply useful features
Other phone owner - Sh1t, just realized that better model phone out there in market.
after 1st quarter

Other phone owner - regarded as if only waited for a few month, should have better phone.

So I realized that iPhone owner is poorer as they don't really change frequently as other brands. Look as GSMArena, Not many people use / talk about a year old phone except for iPhone 3GS, even so many are still using 2 years old iPhone 3G, so my conclusion is we are Poorer ;PS my bro is still using first gen iPhone passed from me.

well guys !
the iphone is just an ordinairy phone and has a very simple design and that's what makes it even better !
it has features that was on nokia sony ericsson samsung ... 3 or 4 years ago !
it's true it has a 3.2mp camera but it's quality in good light conditions is the same as ( nokia n97 5mp sony ericson x ..... omnia hd froom samsung )
but somehow it has a kind of novelty !
the multi-touch ( no other phone had it before iphone )
the app store ( nokia made ovi store just to get by apple ! )
the graphics on iphone are the best !
the games are great ! ( unlike nokia ...... se .... samsung )
the accelerometer ( the first mobile that has it along with nokia n95 )
people want file transfer trough bleutooth !
well i don't want it ! it's really annoying when people ask you to send them a song or whatever it is !
can't they just download it themselves !
and now the os 4 ! it has multi tasking and other great stuff !
if you want a phone that looks good , sleek design , topuch screen , great apps , a multimedia player , a good web browser , a nice camera ......... a phone that is a phone ! something to make calls with and texts !
Iphone is the phone !

Android is taking over. The iPhone fad is all but done. The iPhone HD (what? The now resort to stealing names from Samsung) will be the end of Apple because it simply will on longer be able to compete against the massive development that Android is getting from a range of interested groups.
For Apple to survive it will have to open its closed systems and dump iTunes as the main customer content installation program and allow simple drag and drop file transfer and mass storage mode. Also open bluetooth to con devices and not just Apple devices.

And that's how most Apple fans I've seen are.
It's by far hype and good marketing, very good marketing at that.
So far HTC has the best phones IMO, not Apple. (except if you just want to have the iPhone UI and care for the 5 digits number of apps, the majority of them absolutely useless)

i had an iphone 3g once ! and i sold it after 3 weeks bcz it didnt have usb file transfer !
i had to sync it with the pc everytime i want to add a new song !
i was helll !
but now things are getting better on iphone os 4
and i'm going to buy iphone 3gs soon !
and update it to os 4 !

iPhone rocks!!! Any products from Apple rocks. I have been holding my iPhone 3G for the past 2 years. Usually any phone in my hand doesn't survive more than a year. But iPhone is the best jailbreak it you have a mini computer in your hand. Not mentioned ease of use. During 2 years I needed to use two other phones in my hand for a couple of days only, Nokia & HTC HD... Both sucks!!!

I will not go into argument of other phones being better or not than iPhone.... but I'd like to point out one thing that Apple fans are hanging on... " iPhone is better because it sold so much more then ....-insert any phone brand/model-" ....well using your logic Opel Astra is better car then Porshe....
Honestly.... I could afford an iPhone and would like to have one because of app store/Cynthia ( of course I would jailbreak it ).... BUT I am sensible man with common sense and cannot overlook the facts that it is OVERPRICED aka not worth the money APPLE wants for it. I don’t hate Apple, my iPod is still my favorite gadget …this is just my opinion…….
After years of Nokia I’ve got me an Android phone and loving it really….

I really think apple will, at some time in the future, lose most of it's customers as they will be looking for an open enviroment such as Android. Just hardcore fans will remain there. It happened once, and i TRULY believe it will happen again. If you guys are happy with your iPhones, then that's ok! that won't make you special, it just means the device covers your needs. I own several Apple products, and i really think Android will surpass it easly, it's just a matter of time. Right now, im the proud owner of a HTC desire.

Apple FanBoys claims:
- Owning iPhone etc, means that u are RICH! (proud of it)
- It's easy to use
- It sells millions, outnumbered other devices!
iPod Haters n Brainwashed One claims:
- In term of specs, iPhone is outdated
- In term of functions, features, technology, iPhone sucks big time
- Sells millions coz it has GOOD marketing
What's my two cents about this?
Open your eyes for other products and get to see the REAL one!
Not just based on, "this guys said this", "this site recommend this", so on and so on...

Ya, everything can be done with SBsettings. further more, the multitasking is only available for the iphone 4g. And i dun think i will get a new phone just to get "OFFICIAL" multitasking support while 3GS can do the multitasking jobs.

Have you studied basic economics as far as the relationship of supply and demand is concerned. I am not questioning your e70's usefulness at all. But the fact that the iphone outsold it, that means that more people find the iphone more useful than your e70? And that probably hurts your feelings, and that is why you come in here to vent :) Well every person in the US accounts to the number of the whole global population, so yes, the number of units sold in the US do count a lot and should be a part of the whole user global population.

You still hold to the sales figures of a phone that was launched a few years ago to one that has not even been launched in the States yet, but has overwhelmed Europe to a point of more than a thousand HTC Desires being sold every day. The only limitations with more being sold is the fact that they cannot manufacture them fast enough to keep up with customer demands. Reports are that some stores have returned stock on iPhones due to the lack of sales since the launch of the Desire. This is what is being said, not me judging you. You have your choice of product and can stay happy with your iPhone if you like. I will stay happy with my Desire. No Hard feelings.
