01 February, 2016
That's less than a month after January's patch started hitting the device.

aren't air waves free? if so, is it not illegal to charge customers to "stream" radio stations that are FREE? just saying.

AnonD-423618, 02 Feb 2016Does it make people feel like they are a part of the crowd ... moreNice effort, but last time I've checked we are in February and this article explicitly states that BB has the February security update. I don't see how saying that "some hours ago" Samsung released January's update is doing your cause any favor...

      Awesome support from Blackberry.
They keep bolstering the security on the Android Priv and they keep making the phone run smoother too.

Anonymous, 01 Feb 2016Never been a blackberry fan but love the look of this slide... moreI don't mind the price but I expected FM Radio for God's sake. Abandoning BB10 before establishing themselves into the Android world? Damian Tay should be fired. I wonder how He got the management position. But this is typical of Blackberry anyways. Hiring the wrong managers that mess up things. Sometimes I wonder If they do It on Purpose.

Does it make people feel like they are a part of the crowd when all they do is repeat the same tired internet propaganda? Samsung pushes out security updates 100 hours ago and uninformed people whine. Give us a comment about "lag" just so you can make yourself a
          complete tool.

Anonymous, 01 Feb 2016And yet my unlocked S6 is still on October security patch...Oh dear... Samsung is doing a pretty bad job there, glad I didn't get the S6!
(I only buy devices in which I know I can run either AOSP or CM, for the sole reason of always getting the latest security updates. The latest Exynos are lagging behind in this support and the previous generation didn't leave found memories in this regard, so...)

I wish just once an article on Android security updates would mention the fact that almost no one cares about their Android phone's security beyond their lock-screen PIN or fingerprint reader.

That's not to say that people shouldn't care. They just don't.
