When will South Africa get the marshmallow update for the m4 aqua dual? I'm still stuck with 26.1.B.2.147, according to http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperiam4aquadual/software/, the latest update is 26.1.B.3.109 which was released on 2016-03-08. I am unable to update to this version using my Sony device or Sony pc companion.

It's official, but we are still waiting. There were so many erros in the Version for Z3, Z4 and Z5, that I will wait for 6.0.1 or may be even 6.0.2 for M4 ;)

I don't recomend this phone to anyone who wants to have some use of it with apk, games and other stuff.
The phone doesn't have any memory left after updates.
I buy one game, Need for speed, and i can't instal it because doesn't have any space and this after format phone and no updates done!!!!
The photo, comparing the Arc S is very poor.
Have some troubles with it. Lots os restarts, blocked sometimes. Send to sony to repair 3 times. At the 3th time their replace the board. Problem solve for now.
The phone works fine when i can install a apk, the batery is good, i like the screen quality.
And the waterproof works fine. :)
But the main problem is the memory. Who wants to install several apk this is not your phone.
The videos are to large and have poor quality.
Me (sony M4) and my daughter (BQ Aquaris 5FHD) record the same images with the same time. She's got better quality in 690megas than i in almost 2gb.
My son have a Moto E 2gn and have the same total memory as the M4. The Moto have almost 4gb left to the user and i not even got 2gb. :(
The perfomance (transfer date) of the M4 using wi-fi or 4g is very weak comparing with the Moto E and it cost half the price.

PLEASE NO MORE 8GB INTERNAL MEMORY PLEASE ! its killing me even i have a 64gb sd card. i love this phone. its cheap, reliable, waterproof. three character i value the most but now i realise 8gb is a fucking shit even if it can be expand it with sd card. sony please no more 8gb phone !

Just outta curiosity. Some M4's have an internal 8GB storage.
Sometimes trying to apply updates is pretty impossible when you have a fair number of apps. How do people get around that for upgrades? Coz i always see my friend having the not enough storage space error msg the last time Sony pushed updates to the M4.

I noticed that Sony seems to get copied in their actions, those from Samsung.
In my opinion, it would be better to do something completely different, namely.. ..new phones..:))
I can say that I liked their phones. The design was a success and quite performanante. But I can not say the same things about the price its for sale..:)))))
