With wireless charging, I am able to travel and maximize my handheld devices. I'm not a Samsung mobile fan but they have the necessary add-ons that make my Bezalel prelude works well.

AnonD-337028, 07 Feb 2016Why the hassle of changing batteries thats so old school. ... moreNone of these really. I have docking station to charge phone and battery at the same time but i also have separate battery charger for work.

That way i always have 2nd full battery around.

Given that i dont use any fancy covers on my phone it takes about 60 seconds from pressing power off to phone being up and running. It might be "old tech" but works just great.

It might not suit everybody but i find it annoying when my phone dies in the middle of something. I like to keep it handy, thats all.

Whats your process with your spare battery?

Scenario 1 - charge phone + charge spare battery in a dock then when you run out, take case off and swap batteries
Scenario 2 - charger phone + charge spare battery in the phone then when you run out, take case off and swap batteries
            or
most people Scenario 3 - charge phone then just charge phone again via plug or backup battery pack.

If the battery is a well optimized 3600mAh, i don't personally need it replaceable. I had an ace 2, lg g2, lg g3 all for 2 years or plus and never had any battery issues and never needed extra batteries; but that's because i take care of my phones. I'm a pretty heavy user and i'm not particularly happy with the battery on the G3 (the G2 was amazing), but as long as you're careful with your phone I don't see a need to have replacabilty - because phones that have batteries enclosed are just better optimized. As much as i don't like iphones for being boring and ugly, they run pretty smooth - and so does the S6 (by far the smoothest running Samsung out there)....

BTW, if LG sticks to 2800mAh or 3000mAh on the G5, then S7, here i come...
