[deleted post]The technology was fairly shared in this field before Apple joined it. However Apple does not want to share as the other companies have done. This is the root of the problem. Apple wants to TAKE but not GIVE. They have taken the technology needed to construct a modern mobile phone. They refuse to share technology that they have themselves developed. They sued HTC and Nokia about that. Now they are being sued back. What's so hard to understand here?

                  - Computers does not equal mobile phones.
                  - Mobile communications does not equal computer networking.
I'm not going to explain why, you should be getting your basic education elsewhere. But I figure you're too busy playing with your iphone to do that. And to talk things you have no knowledge about on this forum. Go ahead, nobody's stopping you. But you're making yourself look like a fool. But being an iSheep, I suppose you're used to it.

I think this has all the makings of a David vs. Goliath event. HTC being David and Apple being Goliath. HTC is the biggest producer of Android and WinMO phones out there, so who do you think Google and Microsoft will support? Plus helping HTC in this situation is Nokia, Apple has to worry about them also. And lets not forget the key player in this situation, the company that just partnered with Nokia, Intel. Now on whose side might you think they will be? Plus there is always the wildcard Adobe. We never know if they will decide to get in on all the legal fun.

Ummm, whatever happened to them again? Lol. Whatever technologies Apple has, whether it's their own, or they bought it, it's legally theirs. There is nothing wrong with buying out companies. That's legal, and since they've bought it, they have all the legal rights to protect it. They spend billions of dollars acquiring those technologies, of course they have every right to protect it.
