If they unveil this with a $300+ price tag, I would not bother. Nice to look at, though

"At LG, we think there's room for devices that do one thing very well and that customers shouldn't have to pay for features that they don't want. At the end of the day, we're committed to offering consumers more choices."
---- what about customers that dont want a metal phone??? did you think about this when building the g5? or did you just go down samsung route of copying iphones to steal their customers hence now your going to compete to get samsung customers on board. absolute filth this from lg, i cant wait for the 21st feb release it will be an absolute joke if lg has a metal body on the g5 and more so if the button layout goes to the side LOL. better of going back to samsung

Could this come with LG's own custom SoC?
1.14Ghz A53 Octa core, doesn't ring any bells, on the other hand it could be using the newly announced SD435.

Why people are crying about battery? Both two models are launch with Android Marshmallow. Its 30 to 40 % power saving. So battery will last more than oneday. Good luck LG.
