Making exorbitant profits to make the products exorbitant much better would be nice. Instead Apple is just passing the profits on to the share holders who just use it on hamburgers and poppycock.

Apple is the only company I know of that can make huge profits fleecing their customers and the customers love them for it. Well done, Apple.

I have gone through a lot of posts and I see that a lot of people are making sense while others are just making noises. I am using a blackberry (due to security) and I plan to get the next apple phone. Now I believe people have reasons for choosing the devices they want, I believe some people are going for the OS, not the name. For example, I get a Samsung phone around $500 and I know that next year I will have to go for another Samsung device due to system OS update and stuffs. On the other hand I get an iphone for $1000 and I get system update up to 4 times before I get sick of the phone. I would rather go for the iphone and know that what I will need from apple for the next 2 years is system update (which is free). On the other hand, I personally find the iphone to be less frustrating than android. I got the galaxy note 4 and noticed that if I am running like 5 apps at same time and I allow the screen to time out, then I try to get back to where I stopped it never responds like the apple iphone.

It's quite the opposite. As an Apple user I'm met with nothing but disdain by strangers who can't wrap their head around the fact that some people just don't care about the money lol. It's not that difficult to understand that if you make the a lot of money and can afford to buy whatever you like, you should be able to do with it as you please without being scrutinized?
Is that hate, or is it the other way around in all honesty?

But get the fact clear, Samsung applies a diff strategy.. Whereas I am talking bout Apple's inflamation in price for stuffs... Aftrall, 720p IPS is cheaper than 2k sAmoled.. Isn't it? Samsung phones are really highly priced in the beginning, but not as much inflamated, afterall competition is huge in android, hnce samsung stuffs more things for similar money to apple..
I again clarify here. I am talkingabout inflamated apple pricing.. The usb type c adaptors for macbook costs a bomb.. The phones costs bomb, even after a year f release.. So they make a huge profit..
P.S. --> I dont undrstand why these i-fans dont get facts straight.. The cheaper they sell, the better is it to the consumer.. Plus apple share is less than Samsung, yet they make more profit... Ultimately proves huge inflamation in price for everthing... Plus they also make huge profit from apps, even those apps which are free over android..

0.1 sek faster who cares iphone run @ 1/2 fullhd resolution on smaller display ...
now its coming new 4incher with same low end resolution for you sheeps
and yes im ios and android user and guess what after few years ios updates
it RUN SLOWER than ever safari is tearing site pages and camera is on fps shooting ...

Samsung's huge discounts on its flagships didnt help its cause. Apple's 100% focus on the premium segment definitely is paying off for them.

However, as an Apple user, I get tired of having to continually defend why I am using an iPhone. It's jailbroken, and the HTC is rooted so I have extensive amounts of experience and freedom work each OS.
It seriously makes some people so insane with jealously that it gets borderline fanatical. At least you could care less... That's how it should be.
Use what you like. It's your money.

It's a lot less if hundreds of millions of companies are all making low end handsets. Android OEM is something 1200 OEMs. That cannot be a productive use of people's time.

That is incredible and doesn't bode well at the sametime.
It does make me question why OEMs are continuing to produce handsets for Android for no money. If my business was losing that kind of money over many years I would do something else. How can it be productive to have so many companies all offering tat. Android is a sinking ship if you're an OEM. A bit like the OEM's who made PC/Laptops. There is no room to innovate and no wonder hardly any of them invest in any after-sales support with margins so thin except for Samsung. The retort you always get back is - the price the price.
