AnonD-495526, 15 Feb 2016So what? win10 mobile is 32bit OS.. And if I'm not mistaken... moreWell yes Android for years to come will still likely work with 32bits. But from Android 5 and up it has been 64bit compatible. More and more of android is being changed to work better with 64bits. So yes is works with 32bits. But you only get the full power/experience with 64bits. Same with iOS. Also with Windows phone 10.

Ultra Maniac, 15 Feb 2016 Windows Phone has come a long way.. An Android phone runn... moreExactly. Or they could have gone a little higher, say 250$ and given us a Mediatek Helio X10 with 2/16 GB, 13/5 mp cams and 2700 mah battery.

A perfect mid-range ruined by pathetic processor and way too less battery. Microsoft could have easily delivered a brilliant midrange Lumia 650 with Snapdragon 617 or even better (and cheaper) Mediatek Helio X10 having 2 GB RAM, with 28-2900 mah battery and 13/5 mp cams. For now, I don't know how they expect this phone to win any customers.

MS keeps on launching, 650s 950s 850s 550s 450s all flopped ones, not a single one touched a million mark, so now alumni frame amoled screen, that's up.. Soc Moc both below standards. What do you expect from Chinese something better. Time to quit, enough is enough?

Does msft read comments? They have a poor choice of hardware with respect to price. I firmly believe had it been Nokia, MSFT was still a worthy competitor to Android!!!

Windows Phone has come a long way..
An Android phone running on that hardware would have choked to death..
Still for that price point Microsoft should have used a better chipset..

yeah its true! no doubt it looks awesome with suitable price tag but when you use this windows shit then you realize there is nothing special within windows! no major apps in windows then why would a android user prefer a microsoft shit? only 20% of apps are available on store, thats it! a big FAIL again.

Is there a lower end processor than this ? I don't think so. Such a phone with Snapdragon 616 could stand a chance, but not with 212...come on.
For $200 you can buy a (much more valuable) Motorola Moto G.

MS should fire their market research team, then fire their design team, then look at what the competition is doing and not doing!
Why, why, why do all MS phones have to be huge, have slow processors etc.
I'm not an Apple fan but they know how to identifiy a market gap and fill it; they have good quality phones in all the screen sizes people are likely to want, yes they are expensive but thats because their competitors produce phones that are compromised in one way or another.
What does a good phone have / look like?
Can anyone tell me??
Maybe it looks like an iPhone with a great battery life and runs iOS, Android or W10M !!

No Continuum, an entry level SoC, poor camera and only 1GB of RAM at 200$? I have seen lots of cheap AMOLED screens to say that I prefer LCD.
This phone is a disgrace for 2016 at that price point. How are M$ expecting to be competitive with these phones exactly?

dd, 15 Feb 2016I think Microsoft made a mistake. SD 410 should have been a... moreI think many many users want a midrange phone which has
1. Snapdragon 400 series latest processor
2. Good front and back camera which takes decent pictures for normal usage.
3. Removable battery
4. Micro sd expansion
5. HD AMOLED display 5"
6. Stereo speakers
7. Fingerprint scanner
8. Marshmallow os without bloatware which is light on ram
9. 2GB RAM, 16 GB internal
price - upto $200-250
But no companies are producing such phones. Removable battery has become a rarity.
