Like wtf??? Symbian is the shttiest os anyone has ever used. when you open a menu sometimes it takes seconds. for gods sake. get a life.

400mhz+means that if better hardware is added it will be 4 times faster then an OS that needs to run on 1.3ghz
If symbian runs fine on 400mhz and 128mb ram as a minimum
Take a look at android
And BBOS
500mhz+ and 512mb ram since it's too heavy as an OS
You wouldn't notice a speed or performance increase
But you would with symbian since
The requirement is smaller

(well,... moreDamn you must be an idiot there is only few problems with the symbian os which nokia promised to fix them, by the time the nokia n8 is released we'll be able to judge the direction of symbian in the touch screen market and up to now it looks promising. There is nothing wrong with the symbian non touch ui,it is smooth,fast and does all the work greatly fast, nokia is still leading in the market share by selling simple devices running the non touch symbian (s60 3rd edition ). On the other hand the windows mobile has taken a very huge step in developing their touch screen ui it really looks promising and with the specific requirements that microsoft has set to the manufactures we'll be able to see devices with really great specs and impressive overall performance.

I don't know what is worse... windows mobile or symbian. they are both terrible!
remember when steve ballmer laughed when the iphone was presented? now who's laughing? stupid windows mobile was the most unreliable smartphone OS ever!
and symbian? that shit is so old that I am impressed how nokia still tries to push it on us. It was bad 10 years ago and it is bad now! it was so bad when it was presented that Sony Ericsson had to create a custom UI to cover that mess... just made it worse actually!
