Your nokia can'... moreI have to disagree with you,symbian phones really do have a set of great features interms of functionallity and just lacks some eyecandy and a little set of features which are really not a must have for serious mobile phone users. serious business oriented users can live without pinch zooming,live wallpapers and fancy animation in menus but will never leave without an office document viewer,proper email services,high security settings in their mobile phones and nokia devices offers this with a minimum fuss look at the nokia e71,nokia e72, which were very successfull. Lets not put symbian to the knife and say its completely useless,symbian^1 did lack a lot of touch screen features but offered them in a way a their non touch devices works and this was what made many users get confused but as nokia promised the symbian^3 would provide all what the users need in a modern touch screen device (pinch zooming,multiple homescreens) and the innovation will come from symbian^4.

Nokia might have large internal memories but when you fill it up it lags like hell. Symbian is slow as hell and is sluggish. You still need to DOUBLE tap to enter folders and some parts of the menus. Browsing is the worst experience ever.

HTc is going the wrong way, nobody needs a energy hungry monster.

Symbian ^3 will finally bring all that silly eye candy that the mass market is looking for and still sustain the core symbian functionality of S60 v3 and v5. IT is a game changer in disguise. Task switching/multitasking is way ahead of any other OS, other than maemo.
I am also looking forward to WM7, once they unlock the usage of native code for apps and multitasking. The CE7 is capable of great multitasking so hopefully it will come.

Optimized touch for the current symbian is all they needed to do since symbian is really powerful as it is
The gpu and added RAM and ROM plus Qt 4.6 framework will make a huge difference all around

But i know the future phones since with symbian3 will have 3D accelorator for sure since it uses Qt and more frames in their animation

Completely disagree, Symbian does not perform well at all, Nokia have been notorious for poor battery life and the fluidity is awful no matter how powerful the processor. Android, OSx are both far better options for running speed and UI. Symbian is just a shambles really, like WM. As for this phone, 1.3Ghz is as much clock speed as you need in a phone, they need to look at keeping that but going multi-core, to help assist more complicated tasks such as multi-tasking and larger games.

Despite the so called ugly look of symbian
It still the most poweful Mobile OS on a Mobile phone
No other OS can operate with low specs and still have the wicked amount of features and amazing battery life
If you noticed everyone is using these high clockspeed cpus in their phones,it's cause the OS they've made is too heavy so they need more power just to run it
Mainly WinMo and AndroidOS need a lot of power just to run and no internal storage like the nokia models and iphone it needs a which is even worse since it's that powerful it should have atleast 16 -32gb internal storage instead of removable storge

Deep space bar, 17 May 2010I can't wait till this thing becomes a nice handy cup warme... moreI have nothing against nokia and actually i'm using a nokia phone but 434mhz without any proper 3D graphics accelerator for the nokia n97 and x6 is a joke and a FAIL the symbian^1 ui is ugly and lacked any form of innovation and was plagued with inconsistency,lags and annoying small bugs though nokia are still providing proper customer support with firmware^1 updates still most symbian devices look ancient and outclasd. I'll never use a symbian device untill the nokia n8 gets released. But for now the maemo in n900 has so much to offer than symbian.

Anonymous, 17 May 2010why is everyone saying 4.3" is too big, it will be nic... moreIts not how big the screen is that determines how easy it is to use your phone,the nokia n97 has almost if not the same screen size as the iphone 3g but you'll need a stylus to do some of the stuff but the iphone doesn't need any stylus (lets remove the fact its capacitive) because the ui was made to be easily used by fingers. 4.3 inch is too bulky for a mobile phone to carry around.
