Why?
Disappointed that LG is doing this - flooding the market with necessary renditions of the same phone. Stick to the G series (expensive big one and cheaper small one) and maybe the V and that's it...

do they try to do what samsung did?
every letter in the alphabet with numbers from 1-10...
this means more than 200 useless phones out of which maybe 5 will be of any interest to 3yo.
I still love lg but currently getting zte as they offer more than i need and cost 1/3

Probably the X series would be:
X Max - 5.5inch Snapdragon 617, better screen.
X Speed - 5.2inch Snapdragon 652, better CPU.
X Style - 5.0inch Snapdragon 615, better camera.
X Power - 4.7inch Snapdragon 412, better battery life.
