AnonD-502486, 17 Feb 2016Why the constant obsession in the mobile community for inst... moreAs an Z5p and iPhone 6+ by your comment I see you really don't like the idea of having lots of apps installed. In my iPhone, I can fill 128gb of apps, and the phone, beside the initial startup, will run as fast as empty for every day use. I haven't filed my 200gb microSd card in my Z5 with apps, because in android most programs like to fill the RAM of the phone even if I haven't open the app in some expectation of something to happen, making the phone ultra slow.
I used to fix this just by root with hibernate, but it interferes with some bank apps (being rooted and Xposed modules to hide root don't work well with lollipop).
Marshmallow has a doze function, that not only allows saving battery, but also allowing to install more apps by letting you avoid getting all of them in RAM making the phone slow.
Another thing if you have more than 32gb of apps as I have always have on my iPhones, is that after any update the app goes back into internal memory and is a burden having to manually move them back to the SdCard your self (the auto option on phone full crashes my phone and even if it works it is a slow extra step and not all apps allow to be moved). So with marshmallow one can make the microSd and the internal memory into one, meaning no more moving and all apps can go. No more 32gb limit for apps that don't like to be moved.

So yes, if one uses few programs it makes no difference. If one likes the freedom to have it all as in the iPhone world and have all the apps one would like at the same times, there is a world of difference!

Where is your proof that it has started rolling out in Turkey, there were comments about it, no one in Turkey seems to have any such update, the firmware for Turkey also does not exist. Therefore 99.99% certain this was misinformation.

Why the constant obsession in the mobile community for instant updates to Marshmallow...its a few minor changes...your Apps dont change...which is what you use, merely some power enhancements and a few tweaks to the 64 bit memory management.....youd swear that your phones are unusable on Lollipop...its frankly pathetic to keep hearing this shi-e all the time...youd hardly tell if you had it....grow up and be patient...

James Bond? Believe me I don't know what phone to use when SONY decides to give up on mobile devices, i hate hardware home button on Sam and IPhone or any other phones using that so,it's so sad to see mechanical home button on mobile devices in 2016

As much as i want this update on my Z5, i believe Sony isn't so late this year. (definitely not fast though!)
Comparing it to Samsung, who just started to roll out the Marshmallow update for their Galaxy S6/e. devices.

So, as much as i want it...I rather wait and have a good version of Android, other than have a buggy experience like the one i had long time ago on my Galaxy S4, when Lollipop came out.
