Nothing special in design but hardware might be superior.

AnonD-444894, 18 Feb 2016Removable battery is important because you will never need ... morebut instead to fiddle with some double chargers all the time and 3mm thicker phone.. - NO tanks! I would better have slim and nice phone. In fact s6 easily charges in less than 40min.. and in my case easily holds the charge for 48+ hours.. See no problem plugging it even every night to charge. Finally if I running out of juice when travelling - there is extra battery saving mode - tested and validated battery life - 10 days!... Nobody needs replaceable batteries.

Damo 3535, 18 Feb 2016its like a old samsung s6 to better buy htc a9 Well It would be s7>s6>a9 (HTC). S6 is by far better than a9 and s7 is improved version of it... so how comes you buy a9 instead of s7. Illogical.

This isn't the most beautiful designI have seen. If this S7 will be like this then it's going to be one not so beautiful on the eye

Almost the same implementation of HTC News Republic. I think it was HTC who copied Samsung LOL.

I haven't had a Galaxy S-series phone since the S2. So I might be tempted to buy this. But only after half a year has passed and prices have settled to more decent levels. Or maybe just wait until the S8 drops and the S7 prices will fall. After all my current phone works just fine and I don't feel like paying three times my monthly salary for a piece of tech. Especially one as small as a smartphone.

If the test is executed in exactly the same way regardless model, then the potential customer gets a good indication how well the phone performs relative to competing models. For me, that battery-score is the first thing a check.

AnonD-451833, 17 Feb 2016those are subtle changes that u truly wont notice or put to... moreYou are right, i don't feel any need to upgrade to S7 from my S6 Edge 64gb bought on release last year. It's looking so far with those leaks as an incremental update rather than a revolution. Samsung may just have adressed critics from S6 series in order to release a S7, as you said :

                                -less bumpy camera
                                -microsd slot
                                -water resistance
                                -bigger battery (200mAh more, wow)
                                -maybe cheaper
                                -rest we will see

This is only people's fault if they end up with this real device, Samsung just listened to them, reviewers and sites visitors, and they don't represent half of the potential public.

If it indeed has a 2,800 MAh battery then the S5 might turn out to be a better buy in terms of power efficiency.
