When will people understand that more resolution is BAD, not GOOD, for these small sensors ? HTC had a great idea with their low-resolution sensor, but the idea was executed badly. An large (1/2.3") 8MP sensor with large pixels and with a good lens would outperform a small (1/2.6") 21+ megapixel sensor any day and any night.

I wonder how Xiaomi will introduce it on the MWC, because that is taking place in Barcelona and who knows...maybe some company may sue them and prohibits them to show it due to patent violations/copyright infringement (I am looking at Apple and Samsung). They may even confiscate the stuff since it is Europe and in Europe the Patent 'violations' are taken a bit more serious as oppose to China.

If the specs are true then this is the top contender to replace my ancient HTC DesireZ :D. I wanted to pick up a new phone this time last year but all the phones with a decent GPU had QHD screens that negated the GPU performance (or had overheating issues). I've got my fingers crossed for this one, but will wait for the reviews to come out ;).
