Anonymous, 21 May 2010no dual sim ... failure againi agree no dual sim, failure again and this goes to all non dual sim phone and not only to this phone. but then again, why would dual sim be an indication of failure if the phone can deliver calls, data connection, multimedia functions, i'll leave the thought of whether its failure or not to the ones who's going to buy and use this...

Anonymous, 20 May 2010I reckon that photo is a fake, look at the 'call' and 'end ... more@U2CD, This is a real model. I confirm and yes the button layout looks odd, but it is what it is. I kinda feel weird too when I first used it. I personally like the old E72 middle section layout more. This one look cheap because they use plastic instead of thin metal (E72). But US customer might like it bc it has the same transparant white plastic effect like the iphone.

Guys, nothing new here. This is just a variation of E72 for US market (for US T-Mobile only). It has the same spec as E72 but different middle section button layout with plastic material. Also the lower part of this phone is now one piece of crome coated plastic (same style as E71).

Looks like it's going to have the same display as the e72, e71, e63, etc, etc, such a pain in the butt. They should really consider upgrading the screen resolution on these phones. If a tmobile customer were going to purchase this phone, or a blackberyy bold 9700, they would most likely opt for the bb because of it's higher resolution screen. Data plan cost will most likely be the same as well, so opt for the bb. Nokia really needs to step their game up.

Nokia really should un-cage the optical trackpad frame.
Make it like blackberries, with a loose and level area, so the finger won't get stuck by the depth of the squared frame!

I reckon that photo is a fake, look at the 'call' and 'end call' buttons - theyre not sitting at the correct angle for the positioning of the phone in that shot- the rest of it looks a bit sus too. Photochop...

The only redeeming qualities of this phone will more than likely be the quad band, fm radio, and (possibly) the camera. Expect a headphone jack as well.

It seems to be the big brother for already hit E63 or the cheaper version of E72.... like E63 was the poor sibling of E71...
i see a lot of meaning into in releasing it in US directly, givan the fact that E63 has hit the right notes there.

'cause Nokia likes its 1000 different names for its 30 or so really different phones... Well it's uglier than E72. It looks cheap compared to E72... which is understandable - it's a US spec European phone.

It's a photoshoped E71 to me.
E5 is E5, becouse of a plastic body. E73 should be better quality, so it will be never called E7.

still waiting nokia to announce their high end fon....if dis is the best they can do....i gonna say goodbye to nokia very soon....nokia just cant get out of their old model shadow although they are good fon but only in the 20th.....i think it will be great if nokia can invent a new os like android or windows mobile or just use these software in their new fon model becoz these os is far more better than s60 and have widder space for expand and can developa better performance....nokia have all the technology and more experience and even better skill to create a good fon but just lack of good os.....although s60 used to dominate the market but s60 is just 20th things and nokia is still selling them....
