Yeah at just 4 dollor this price point was such a attractive price point
They got overrun by customers who wanted too buy everything that's not nailed down
I tried for like a month trying get a order but traffic was just too much domand for this phone
Fighting with website page but it just keep crashing
I sure was dead set on getting this phone but unable too get one such a good bargain it could have been 😭

According to Adcom Head says to Z-Business news Yestarday- Regarding of Ringing bells new product Freedom 251, He said-The device they have bought cost of Rs-3600 for Demo version in the press Release date. also said how is a possible to give this Mobile in this unbeliveable price of Rs-251 which is not price of half KGS. Moton. also inform that born of metarials cost Rs-2200 so how to they calculation about here. if someone think he was wasted their money than is it possible . He cleairly mention it's not possible to give them . yeah it's realy amazing Intresting story about Freedom 251, Hope all people are get this one between 4 month if Recived that one created a big history in the world if doesn't get you know also what happend next.

Blog: Ringing Bells accused of alleged fraud by Cyfuture call center:
Ringing Bells, the maker of the world’s cheapest smartphone Freedom 251, is being accused of fraud and non-payment of dues and abrupt termination of contract by call center service provider Cyfuture.
Noida based Cyfuture is a vendor of Ringing Bells and was contracted by the company to provide call-center support in India. The company has alleged that Ringing Bells has not fulfilled payments due to them. The call center even said that in order to provide uninterrupted services, it hired a team of more than 100 professionals in the shortest possible time-frame and made their helpline live in 3 days. Meanwhile, in response, Ringing Bells is accusing Cyfuture for having failed to respond to the huge number of calls they received despite the claim that they hired 100 new people for the new project.
Cyfuture Founder and CEO Anuj Bairathi told PTI
We were always sceptical of Ringing Bells and their business model. After several rounds of discussions with their management team and when they showed us names of senior politicians visiting their launch event, we decided to take up their project. The first few days after the phone was unveiled, the call-centre number received lakhs of calls which were attended and promptly responded to and even Ringing Bells was happy with our services. However, when we started asking for our payments, which were to be made to us on a weekly basis, they started making false allegations and abruptly decided to terminate our services citing unsatisfactory services.This is a clear case of cheating, fraud and breach of contract. As per the contract, Ringing Bells had specifically assured us of a minimum lock-in period of one year and no termination before a year.
Cyfuture alleges that they have a one year contract with Ringing Bells with no termination before a year. Bairathi stated that Ringing Bells was to provide a 30 day notice-period and make all pending payments, as per their agreement, in the event of termination due to unsatisfactory services.
Ringing Bells President Ashok Chaddha in response said
We had outsourced this job to Cyfuture BPO. Telecom companies confirmed that the helpline was receiving a volume of approximately 12 lakh calls per hour. It came to our knowledge that the BPO company was not able to handle the traffic. We are looking into the situation to serve our customers better.
Just yesterday, Ringing Bells announced cash on delivery for Freedom 251 orders. Earlier this week Ringing Bells answered some questions raised by the media and customers

According to -Amitabh Kant -‘Make in India’ has nothing to do with Freedom 251: It looks like Ringing Bells is not able to catch a break with new allegations and controversies arising almost every day. The maker of the cheapest smartphone in India, the Freedom 251 has been touted as being a part of Digital India and the ‘Make in India’ initiative. However, it seems that this is not the case.
Department of industrial policy and promotion (DIPP) Secretary Amitabh Kant cleared via a tweet from his official Twitter account saying that the Freedom 251 is not a part for ‘Make in India’ or ‘Digital India’ initiative. “This is not a government project. ‘Make in India’ team has nothing to do with this,” wrote Kant in the tweet. The government is already keeping a close watch on “Freedom 251”. Ringing Bells has promised to deliver 25 lakh handsets by June 30 and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had said that the company would face action if it fails to deliver the promised smartphone.
