Oh, I forgot to mention that they did a stellar job copying Meizu's MX5 design. I'm not being sarcastic, either. Of all the companies that have copied Meizu (it's a long list that includes Xiaomi), Archos appears to have done the best.

I was ready to pounce upon reading the specs, assuming they were going to charge premium-phone pricing based on the RAM and storage, but those prices are actually very reasonable. If the P10 wasn't such a dog in the GPU dept. I might take a flyer on the Diamond 2.

Let me ask you guys would you want the archos diamond 2 plus and get the helio p10 with 4 gb ram and a fingerprint scanner or get the diamond 2 note with a Quadhd screen no fingerprint sensor 3 gb of ram and pay 10€ more

As it is phones for China are very cheap and they are some well known China brands that are excellent for value money you cant ask for the whistle and bells in a great package then always expect it to be cheap in the long run is just not sustainable. Ask yourself why archos are that cheap and look at previous reviews simply put they are just not that good and it not there main focus. China phones dont need to come down in price just because they are made in China i am so sick of this closed mind set that because something is made in China it needs to be cheaper

In the US the price is the Item Price. Sales Tax vary from State to State. Some of them have local taxes too to add to it.

And most importantly, have a very low price for these two phones mins. Now Chinese manufacturers, in particular, will have to come down and prices. ..:))

That's the perfect price for a smartphone with latest high end features unlike Samsung charging 600-700$ for there flagship's that are even worst than Chinese smartphone maker xiaomi
